Booking, Payment and Cancellation info

1. How do we book a tour with you?

To book a tour you can either pick one of our ready-made packages in the Shore Excursion section or tailor a tour of your own by choosing sites from the list of attractions in our A La Carte menu.

To book a private tour, please:

  1. →  Choose your ship and arrival date
  2. →  Find your shore tour now
  3. →  Choose your activity level package
  4. →  Choose the number of people in your party
  5. →  Press Зbook nowИ button
  6. →  Choose, if you please, one of our optional evening tours from ЗA La CarteИ menu/ or proceed to registration
  7. →  Add the evening optional tour to your shopping bag
  8. →  Please, check the tours in your shopping bag on the right hand side of the web page and proceed to registration to finalize your order. 

As soon as you submit the registration form with your order ( your shopping bag ), one of our managers will get back to you to answer your questions, discuss the program and help you to finalize your booking.

2. If we want to join a group of other travelers on one of your flat-rate tours ( GROUP ), how can we do that?

To join a flat-rate group tour, please:

  1. Choose your ship and arrival date
  2. Find your shore tour now
  3. Choose the GROUP tour you'd like to join
  4. Choose the number of people in your party
  5. Press "book now" button
  6. Proceed to registration and follow further instructions

Our managers will get back to you to answer your questions and help you to finalize your booking.
Hence flat-rate group tours do not require any deposit, you can pre-book the tour through our manager on our website and then pay on arrival.

3. Do we have to pay a deposit to book with you?

Flat-rate tours to do not require any deposit.

As for private tours, may you wish to confirm your intentions and! get a discount on your tour or a free ( bonus ) visit to one of the sights not included in your program, you can transfer a 20% deposit to our account via this website.

Moscow tours do require pre-payment, since we have to pre-book and cover the cost of train/plane tickets in advance. In case of cancellation the deposit on Moscow tours is not refunded.

 

4. Are museum admission fees included in the price of the package?

Yes, they are! Whenever the description of the tour reads ТvisitУ Р it means that the admission fee to this particular site, should it be a museum, a park, a memorial or a palace, is included in the price of the package.

 

5. What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation of private tours without any charge is possible 72 hours prior to the beginning of the tour. If you cancel within 72 hours your deposit will not be refunded.

You can cancel your Moscow tour at no charge 2 weeks prior to the date. After that period your deposit will be used to cover the price of the train/plain tickets.

Flat-rate tours do not require any deposit and you can cancel any time, but since we display our loyalty to our clients by reserving services without prepayment, we would appreciate if you cancel in advance, at least 72 hours prior to the tour.

If you have paid a deposit and then cancelled within 72 hours to your tour due to illness, we will gladly refund the deposit as soon as you send us a scan of the verified medical certificate.

To cancel, please, contact our manager through Customer Service or by pressing contact us button in the upper right-hand side corner of the webpage.

 

6. How do we pay the deposit if we book a private tour with you?

Once you finalize your tour with your Firebird manager, you will receive an invoice and payment instructions.

St-Petersburg is the birthplace of Russian porcelain

Porcelain first appeared in China between the 4th and the 6th centuries, in 1710 the first porcelain workshop in Europe was established in Meissen ( Saxony ). The technology involved in the manufacture of chinaware in Meissen was, as in China, a close-locked secret.

Russian chemist Dmitriy Vinogradov discovered the secret of porcelain production in 1746. It was at Vinogradov's pottery shop that first samples of russian-made porcelain appeared. Later on the workshop was expanded and accommodated the Emperial Porcelain Factory.
